These are midi grooves, not samples. You will need one of the supported drum programs to get the samples.

Once you buy EZDrumer2 you have a world of add on kits at your disposal.
BFD3 is good drum program too. It's stock kits are pretty good but I've never approached them for Country specifically.

AD is good rock drums.
Session Drummer (IMHO) is a beginners tool.
EZ is ..... well .... easy but can has some nice add on packs. Nashville, Americana and Indie come to mind for the type of stuff you seem to be doing.

The Music City SDX is the same kit as the Nashville EZX but targeted for the Superior Drummer 2 user. You get a lot more control but like Bapu, I love the ease of using EZdrummer2. Being able to search for a midi groove by tapping something in the search window has spoiled me forever.

Hey Billy, Like you, I have Americana, Folk, and Country style songs and I find EZD 2 to be excellent, especially for a relative newbie like me to learn. If PG Music Real Drums don't work out, I use EZD. Like others have said, the expansion packs are worth it. They do go on sale...may be on sale now, not sure. Thanks again guys....everyone is giving more or less the same feedback and EZD looks like it will do the job. Drum programs in general drive me nuts so I hope EZD is really easy to find the drum lines I am looking for. That is one thing I like about AD....not hard to find stuff and organized...intro, verse...ect. Thanks, Billy EDIT: Yes it is on sale ATM but about $300 for what I want...all this DAW stuff is worse than drugs....lol

Good thing I speak German! Only they could get away with this acronym for food: BARF (Biologisches artgerechtes rohes Futter (biologically appropriate raw food)). Ha! And the tan dog in the Fette Beute slider image looks JUST like my Italian Greyhuahua, Ollie! And no, that's not staged. First dog I've ever had that sleeps under the covers.
