Playback wrong Sample rate?

Playback wrong Sample rate?

Hi I am having an issue when loading projects that the playback sounds an octave low and half speed?
If I go into settings and reselect the sample rate in Sonar it works but am having to do this everytime I load a new project with a different sample rate. I think maybe Sonar is not sending sample rate for project to Saffire mix control.
 
Wondering if there is a setting I'm missing somewhere?
 
I am using a Saffire Pro 14 audio interface with latest software. Windows 8.1
 
Any suggestion appreciated, first post in the forum.

    Couple of things to check:
     
    Preference > Audio > Driver Settings - Ensure Playback and Record Timing Masters reference the correct driver.
     
    Preferences > Audio . Playback and Recording - Uncheck Share Drivers with Other Programs.
