Automation Lanes Faded

Hi,
I've been doing some work in Sonar X3 and I have had an issue with the automation lanes not always appearing when I click the toggle button. The lanes stay faded behind the MIDI track, as with the red track labelled "Chords":

I can get the lanes to return to their normal places after I delete one of the lanes and bring it back, and then all the lanes in the track return. However, is there something I am missing that causes the lanes to stay faded behind the MIDI track?

Thanks

I can't read the lane titles in the pic. Are all of the 4 lanes that are open the same as the hidden lanes? In other words are there other lanes that are hidden and not open? I don't think I've ever seen this behavior. Weird.

The four lanes that are empty in the picture are the same ones as the ones that are faded behind the track (like it would be if the lanes were collapsed). This just periodically happens and I'm not sure if it's some bug or I am missing something.
