I like Novation. Curiously, Novation did not allow midi sync to/from external devices on their X-Station when they sold it. (Perhaps they thought it would steal sales from their K-Station?) About a year after they retired the X-Station Novation quietly uploaded an updated OS which enabled owners to sync midi, transmit arp, etc. What a difference that made. The fun factor went up ten-fold overnight. To this day that act is so much appreciated! Thank you, Novation! One gets the impression passionate synth guys run the show there.

Eight years running now, my 61 key X-Station gets daily use as both synth and controller.

Novation Basstation Keyboard was my first step into music production in '93. I will always have a soft spot. Later the Rack version and drumstation

FYI, Novation and Focusrite plug-ins are free to download from the MusicTech website.

Cheers Fleer, I grabbed the BassStation when you told me before. I've not tried it yet as I grabbed it when my PSU died on my Laptop, so it's sat in the 'to do' part of my brain
