AFAIK you do NOT own it after 12 months is paid (and they DO NOT have to be consecutive)  is up but you do get a $99 voucher to be used toward any Slate Digital product.

Or you get two $99 koops if you opt for the $299 annual in one go.

So you have to get Gobbler to get the demo months and/or subscription?  I thought Gobbler quit supporting the PC?

Welp no good deed goes unpunished.  I went through the process with Gobbler/slate and, after signing in at Gobbler, was told to plug my iLok into a port...which it is...and power up my DAW...which I did.  Only now I get an error dialog saying Sonar cannot open because it's missing a string of letters and numbers ".dll" file.  I tried restarting.  No love.  Now I'm updating to Glouscester.  Has anyone else had this happen?

Also I own the console emus already, so if I opt in on the bundle does it overwrite my permanent ilok license and lock m,y purchased plug to a subscription?

Yes it's kinda confusing which = pass in my world. IF things get too difficult I'll start using the bundled software in my DAWs.

I think the software world is heading in the same direction as music - not making the millions anymore, so having to resort to weird and unusual sales solutions to establish a predictable income... I don't mind renting, but then I want 110% reliability and compatibility. Just like a rental car - you give me a bad one, you'll sure as hell hear from me.

Next we'll be renting air and fresh water too.. Oh, wait, Nestle is already trying to justify that logic.

Yep this happened to me I typed the missing dll's into Google and reinstalled the Microsoft runtime 2013 thingy that I was pointed to.. Did the trick.
