Comparison of Win 8 and Win 10 Sonar performance

A while back I made a Sonar project under Windows 8.1 that maxed out my system.
I made it by loading Machine 2 on each track running a complex project (each different).
I kept adding more Maschine tracks until I got dropouts, then I removed that last track.
 
At the time I made it I got up to 20 Maschine 2 projects running.
 
I loaded that old project in Sonar Platinum just now and got similar results.
 
Keep in mind that I have not tweaked Windows 10 at all yet - all the standard services are running.
 
In summary, though, Windows 10 is looking very nice for audio work.

Otherwise, all my hardware devices and settings are the same.
 
Notice how many more processes and threads are running in Windows 10, no doubt some tweaking and stopping unnecessary services will improve that.
