Pro channel issue

Hello, I'm a newbie to this forum. I have had sonar for years tho. Just upgraded to platinum. For some reason I cannot get the saturation plugin to fully populate into the channel. I get the header of the saturation knob and then the console emulator. So, it looks like 2 console emulators except one says console emulator and the other says saturation knob. Any thoughts on how I can resolve this?

Video driver issue? Do you have the latest video driver installed for your monitor?

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

Depends on what version you're migrating from. Start with a VST reset and re-scan (not just a re-scan) and see if that helps. You'll find what you need to do under Preferences > File > VST Settings. Then do as gswitz recommends if the reset/rescan doesn't help.

Thanks guys, I tried both those things and the problem still persists. The console simulator has little to no audio change when turned on as well. There is a new update today so I'm loading that... Not holding my breath that it will work. Is it possible to remove these 2 programs and then re download them?

    Thanks again.

The console emulator effect is very subtle and is meant to be cumulative. If you follow the documentation and put it on all the tracks (like a real mixer), then use quick grouping to enable/bypass, you'll hear a difference.

As to the Saturation module, what happens when you click on the Expand/Collapse symbol?

Prochannel modules are stored in C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\Internal. You can move/rename them before installing to ensure they get replaced, but I doubt that's the issue.

Based on the description, it kind of sounds like you just have the module collapsed; try clicking the expansion triangles at the end of the header.

I've had a similar thing happen and found if I either collapsed the prochannel and opened it again or scrolled the module off screen and then back it went away.

I've seen display weirdness like this when accessing ProChannel via the Track Inspector, but never in Console View. Are you seeing the same thing in both?

I have this issue with just the Saturation Knob, only in Console View, only on the second monitor, and only if it set / mounted above the main monitor (which is where I have it).
It seems like a display error (in SONAR), as I have had this both in X3e and SPlat (every release), with two different pc's (different graphic cards), both with the latest drivers and updates. Even had a TeamViewer session with one of the nice people from Cakewalk, and they could not figure it out.
Everything is working as it should, on my main monitor.
I tweak the Saturation Knob in Track View, Inspector (I), Pro Channel.
