Which video card are you using with Windows 10 installed?

I attempted to install Windows on my DAW but received a message that Windows 10 won't install because the video card I am using isn't supported.  I am using a Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT.  Yes I've had it for a while, but I never had issues with it before.  I am now reading online that windows 10 will require a video card which will support Direct X 12.

What video card do you all have that is working in Windows 10?

Looking for PCI-E 16x 2.0 or 3.0

Thanks for the responses.

Peace,
Jesse G. A fisher of men  <><

I've been using the AMD Radeon HD 7950 for a couple of years and it's great.

I have a 3+ year old AMD Radeon HD7500 series adapter. I installed the driver update after the Win10 update, but the previous version of the driver was working on Win10, as far as I could tell.

Nvidea Geforce 210 working. Windows 10 clean install downloaded the drivers for it automatically.
I have one with a fan but It comes in a silent version (no fan) and is low cost.
I am using two monitors with it, one on the analog port and one on the DVI port.

Been using an AMD Radeon 7870 HD (His Ice Q) GPU for about 2 years on a 1080p display. Fantastic quality and seamlessly works in Win 10.

I've been using GTX660 and now GTX960. You don't need a top of the line card. But the newer the better., but without a new motherboard you don't get all out of your card ass you want. The PCIe standard is getting better every year and an old motherboard can only give the graphic card that it has of PCIe bandwidth. But it will work, just not as good as it was made for.

That is odd. I have a 7000 series and the compatibility checker never said such a thing.  nVidia drivers support older cards.  DX12 shouldn't be necessary.

Pricey cards use more power consumption. For a DAW like a GT240 works fine for a DAW.  Some new cards won't work on older boards. My 750ti would work on an older AMD board that only fits Phenoms IIs.  My 9800GT works fine on my recent AMD 970 board.  They are not plug and play like they use to.

GTX 660 is what I'm using. That or newer is fine with Windows 10

I am using an nVidia GTX 980, but that's because I play games. You probably don't want to buy something that high end as it is pricey. It works very well though, and I'd imagine their lower end 900 series do as well, though that is still overkill for a DAW.
