Where is CJ
I never see any posts from CJ anymore. I learned a lot about Sonar from him over the years, but where is he?

I guess he's alive and well, just busy. I've seen a post every now and then by him. His stream of posts used to be so overflowing, that one really notices the change! I've picked more than a trick or two from him, too!
SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre - Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc. The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

https://soundcloud.com/a-pleasure-dome http://www.bnoir-film.com/ there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

I think the forum is better even though we have missing members. I hope hosting has had a positive impact on this.

No, I can't say that hosting has had a positive impact. Not to say it's had a negative impact, just a change in the way things work. I happen to miss many of those annoying customers.

LOL . . . Yes, in his over 30,000 posts he spent a lot of time talking about SoundBlaster audio cards. . . . but seriously, his website still has excellent information about audio and mastering, that I have used as a reference center for many years now.

Hi everybody, CJ is over Gearslutz.com where people talked more about music and how to make better music. I am still a die hard Sonar fan, and I still read this forum everyday, but over here, I feel that we are a bunch of technocrats, like if you can't do this then Ctrl that or Alt this, and rarely, there is someone who would come here and asks a question about how to make a better track or a better mix, and people with thousand of posts would chime in and say, this is how you do it, and because I did it for my last mix for XYZ band, which by the way, they won a grammy last year. Of course Cakewalk loves us, because it makes their support job much easier. And we all feel like we are in Wonderland. But to reiterate, I still love Sonar and this forum. dan

Gee Wiz Beaver now that all the trouble makers and outlaws have been run out of town …. Only the corporate approved hosts and peacocks will get to ride all the floats in the parade and strut their feathers …. the end result of that scenario = stagnation I happen to respect anybody that has the stones to hold their line and stay true to themselves … I was brought up old school I liked that about C J , Kenny
