MIDI note triggered envelope modulations

is there any built in way for this in Sonar like in FL Studio or I have to use some third-party modulation framework like MUX
 

so for example I'd like to change the cutoff param of Nexus along an envelope which is triggered by a note, in FL it's quite easy just have to assign the given parameter to a modulation slot of the Envelope Controller and trigger it by a note and done...
