Adjust Selections w/Zooming
This is one area I'm quite surprised has never been in an issue for many. Selecting parts of clips, and then adjusting the selection.
Obviously the editing is supposed to be non-destructive (for the most part, it is, but not completely; it can still wreck the project's clip orientation by inserting splits in bad places, unintentionally.)
But what I'd like to see, that Soundforge and Wavelab have been doing for many years is allow me to zoom in and out and re-adjust my selection by grabbing the ends of the selection and moving them left or right.
Today, I still prefer to get my selection right first and worry about adjusting the resulting clip's ends after a paste. But I need to zoom way in and out to do this, meanwhile maintain the current selection where I can micro-adjust it, even to the sample.
Is this something that could still happen? The current editor is OK, but it's still one of the weakest parts of Sonar, IMO, aside from tiny fader adjustments.
Apologies for trolling, but I still get irritated when I edit.
