LINKED CLIPS MORE FLEXIBLE

Hi Cakewalk ,
 
Can you please add a link /unlink  button to each midi clip ((similar to the input echo button))
 
So when the link button is highlighted on 2 or more midi clips those clips will enter the same (midi data /piano roll editing>Combined midi editing in PRV)
 
Then when the link/unlink button is UN/highlighted the (midi data /piano roll editing ) will be as it is now and only on that midi clip selected (Separate track midi editing in PRV)
 
Maybee there can be a little L when you press the link/unlink button 3 times to keep the current feature of linked groups .
This would allow for some midi editing separately on midi tracks and also combined midi editing on multiple tracks
 
WELL AND TRULY NEEDED IF YOU ASK ME (:-:)(MORE EASILY AND QUICKER)

    I'd prefer multiple midi outputs, or midi sends, or linked midi tracks. Or all of this.

    I found more than ten threads from 2005, 2008, 2011, 2015 years requesting this, but not in "Features&Ideas", so I don't know. There are too many ways to do it, and it is hard to articulate it.

    You could break your suggestion out to a new FR ... then we could vote on it specifically
