I really like my UR44. The only thing I found is that all your audio goes through the virtual mixer and I had to run some audio with the mixer on screen to get the settings right. I was getting reverb on my recording and traced it to the virtual mixer. The amp sims are very much like the Yamaha DG stomp. 3 different gain models. I really like the reverbs and use them instead of other VST's I have. There are supposed to be Win 10 compatibility issues in WDM mode, but ASIO mode works just fine and the Win 10 drivers should be out in Sept.
Regards, John I want to make it clear that I am an Eedjit. I have no direct, or indirect, knowledge of business, the music industry, forum threads or the meaning of life. I know about amps. Strangely I was looking at one of these earlier today. How does this compare to the Scarlett lineup?

I've been using it for 2 days and I'll never let it go. Best Interface I've ever owned. PLUS, it's so nice seeing FIRMWARE updates for it! They can add/improve features over time and already have. For example, you can "print" the built in channel strip EQ and Compression to the DAW, which you couldn't originally do. Users asked for it and a firmware update made it happen. The sound is crystal clear, and the hardware interface feels so nice. Solid and precise knobs, etc.

I have had my UR44 for over a year now and really love it. The Windows 10 drivers should be out in early Sept according to the Steinberg site.

Installed the new Yamaha Drivers for Windows 10 last night for my UR44. Seems to be working great.

I just found new firmware - 2.1.1, but the drivers are still at 1.9.5. Did you find later drivers?

I am not in my studio buy I simply followed the announcement on the Steinberg site which led me to download the new Yamaha Windows 10 drivers. The UR44 version remained the same.

The Yamaha Driver V1.9.5 is designed for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and now Windows 10. The older version was 1.9.2.

Nice. Steinberg got it right with the newer models. All of their "higher end" units (even the rackmount ones costing $800+) don't have onboard midi I/O!
