Virtual patch points

Is this going to enable 'folder as bus'? Noel? Anyone? That would be really cool.

    I had thought if that initially as well, but (I hope) the patch points will have few limitations on usage. If daisy chaining busses (common) this would require nested folders and associated interlocks (i.e., limit the functionality of the patch points).

    I am really curious how this feature turns out. It will definitely be a major improvement to the creative part of the workflow, yet this must be a dramatic change to the core code.
     
    Thus, I'm a little bit worried it will have to go through a series of quick fixes once it's let lose on us to abuse ;-)  just think about all the areas it affects (undo/redo, templates, mix recall, ...)
