hmmm, just took it for a spin . . . it's ok I guess, not that impressed with it though, nothing that will make me want to fire up Amplitube, will try some more in the next day or so 12.45 am here now, but just not overly impressed.

I wasn't expecting someone who refers to AmpliTube as AmpliTurd to like it or be objective, but thank you for your input nonetheless :)  We're happy that the people that make the amps disagree, though.

Edit - Joking aside, if anybody has not guessed from the messages above, AmpliTube 3.15 is now available in your IK User Area, making the AmpliTube MESA/Boogie gear now available for demo and purchase in Custom Shop.

I own all the Amplitube stuff, I pre purchased the Mesa pack a week or so ago, I just don't really like it from my brief play, not compared to the other stuff I have, like I say to others, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, it's what you think that is important. Like I said, it's ok, just didn't grab me. It's 1.10 am here, I'll give it a good whirl over the coming days, but it just doesn't excite me thus far. I assure you, I don't spend my money on something hoping it will not appeal to me, quite willing to PM you my account info so you can check, I really do own it all, bar a handful of pedals released since I last used purchased it.

1.  JRRShop has this with a discount in cart cheapest you will find it.

2.  All the demos are all over the place.  I really wish the demos were the exact same guitar played so you can tell the differences in settings, amps, cabs etc.  instead it's just all over.  one of the demos is this nice sweet strumming and half way it goes back into the same old same old heavy metal riff like the guitar player just could not bring themselves to keep playing softly.  sorry the demos have left me cold.

3.  I almost pulled the trigger to purchase this, and now am not going to.  to much distortion and not enough indie/clean for me.

DAMNIT I WANT A VOX.  maybe after work I'll run down to GC.  UGH.

You can now demo it directly since we released it a week early (but will still run the special pricing through August 31st).

Thanks for the kind words.  There was a nice user demo video of some high gain tones from AmpliTube MESA/Boogie posted yesterday, for those interested in what others are doing with it:

I must be twisted, I found it well thought out, well executed, funny and informative. While I never considered Amplitube a turd I must admit these are my favorite amps to date. Thanks for the Mythbuster video.

So let me get this straight.....you spent a few minutes late one night demoing the amp sim.....declared it a turd....then went back and did another demo the next day and decided you were WRONG.

Then, this is your example of an apology?

Wow.
