PRV QUestion ?
Hi EVeryone , Was wondering if anyone has this issue and if theres any suggestions for an easier work around ? say i have 20 tracks in PRV and i lock the window and these tracks are just the midi tracks of whatever, if i add another vst or midi track and i want to add that(MIDI TRACK ) to the 20 MIDI tracks i already have in 1 PRV window is there an quick way to do this? ATM i hold CTRL and select each midi track then at the end of all 21 tracks hit alt/3 , yeah it works and time ticks on , though i was just wondering if theres a quicker way to add a midi track to a existing PRV window with lots of tracks , or some how quickly (CTRL+ select )all the midi tracks in the existing PRV window so i can add another midi track quickly .( keep in mind in my PRV windows i dont add the outputs so i cant just CTRL in track view everything and alt3 it because toooo much going on in a PRV window . any input on this Regards

In the PRV there is an option under View to Pick Tracks. Hold down the ctrl key whilst adding track(s) to the existing selection.

Thanks for that
I just clicked picked tracks in PRV and the tracks already in there were highlighted blue , so I held CTRL and selected the new track and that's great news .
Thanks again

No worries. There's usually a simple answer, though not always.......

Hi Everyone , Another problem with this , if someone can shed some light , In my project >in PRV i have loads of tracks in a window >then i add a new track by selecting pick tracks in PRV and holding CTRL >highlighting it and all is well >FOR NOW , the problem is is that sonar doesnt save this , for example if i change screensets and flik back i have to pick tracks and add the same track i just added > or if i save project >when i reopen the project i have to re add the same track> now i do have that PRV window locked so i unlocked it >then pick tracks >ctrl the new track > then lock PRV windows > and it just wont keep the new added track in there > Please can anyone help , this should save the new track i added via pick tracks and it must be a BUG. Regards

Hi Everyone, Thanks for that , my mainscreen set wasnt locked to begin , so thanks to you i have figured that if the main screen set is unlocked and i add a pick track>new track >then lock main screen set > then go to screen set 8 > then back to main screen set it DOES save the new track i added via pick tracks , so thankyou HOWEVER In this process i have also noticed that on screen set 8 for my test which is a locked screenset> i have a few tracks and in the PRV window which is also locked ,if i pick tracks >add a new track then go to main screen set>then back to screen set 8 it saves the new track ?????? this is how it should be for the main screen set also for quickly adding pick tracks that also are saved by the screenset !!! Wierd how it is easier to quickly add new tracks on screenset 8 while both the screenset and PRV are both locked and it save it automatically for when i come back !! Regards
