sonar platinum control bar

hi, i just installed sonar platinum and i'm trying to figure things out. being a long time cakewalk user (since 2001)many things are familiar, however, some are not. i need a tutorial on the control bar for platinum, i have watched a couple things on you tube but they are not much help. what i would really like is a new book by scott (i hope he sees this) i've used his books for sonar 6 and X2, i could't live without them.
meanwhile, can someone point me to anything that would help explain the platinum control bar
