Excellent review. 
 
I'd argue that Pro-C2 is not yet "the only compressor you'll ever need", though. There are still a few features it doesn't have (e.g. RMS detection), and the M/S features have been deprecated from version 1.
 
Still, Pro-C remains my default go-to comp for almost everything. Kotelnikov still owns the master bus, and RoughRider continues to serve as my primary vocal smasher (for now, anyway; PC2's newly-reduced minimum attack time and Range control may change that).


All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
