[FIXED in Ipswich] Please verify bug in Preferces | Colors - CWBRN-35106

EDIT: Problem report sent. CWBRN-35106.
 
 
Open SONAR Preferences
Go to Colors tab.
Enter something in the search box (such text that is not found in colors), for example "kk"
 
Result:
SONAR pops up "The parameter is incorrect" message. If you close it, SONAR shows it again in infinite loop.
 
Close SONAR by ending task in Task Manager.
 
[image removed - issue is fixed]
 
I replicated this in two machines and two latest SONAR builds.

    I performed the following
    1) Open Preferences > Customization > Colors
    2) type kk into the Search entry field
     
    The list box containing selections when blank but I did not get an error message.
    Running SONAR H (21.7.00 build 18) x64 on Win7.

    Addition to the recipe:
    - After entering "kk" to the search box: click some control in the preferences window.

    I just tried clicking on the wallpaper radio buttons in Colors, the Presets drop down and Preferences > Customization > Display and back to Colors...no error messages

    I was able to replicate this bug. Clicking on many controls did NOT cause this bug, but clicking on "Defaults: All Colors" popped it up right away, and I had to close SPlat via the Task Manager.

    Yes, that does happen. It is not new to SONAR, it was introduced in X3. So the full recipe is
    1) Open Preferences > Customization > Colors
    2) type kk into the Search entry field (or anything which causes the list box to clear)
    3) click "Defaults: All Colors"
