Sonar growing on me....

Tried it earlier in the year but the upgrade price ($300 for me at the time) was too just too much in my opinion. Come summer, I received the $120 offer and decided to bite.

To make a long story short, I'm getting the hang of Sonar (not easy being a Reaper user where everything is 'manually' done - it has its advantages!). The ProChannel is very convenient and there is a whole lot of little features that prove vey convenient and accelerate the workflow tremendously.

Very excited and impressed. Lots to learn and explore, but the process is very pleasant so far. Money well spent. Happy camper here...lol...

Welcome to the forums! You'll find the people here quite helpful, and you'll also find SONAR often allows multiple ways to accomplish the same function to accommodate different workflows. One of the keys to "SONAR happiness" is to find the option that works best for you.

And don't be too shy about asking questions, although it's always appreciated if you do a quick search first (I cannot tell you how many threads have been started about "can't see more than one open plug-in at a time" because they didn't read the section on new features in SONAR and see the part about how to "pin" effects). 90% of the time if you have a question, someone else has the same question.

The best method to search the forums is with Google, and preface your search terms with "site:forum.cakewalk.com" That will direct Google to use your search terms in here. The forum search itself (at the top of this page) is a bit lackluster.
