Install Folder Problem

Hello Everyone,
Something odd has been going on with every Sonar Plat update so far.   I installed Sonar to C:\ but then after I moved some folders in the folders preference to D:\.

Every time I update Sonar it puts files in C:\ again - like ProChannel Presets, Project Templates, etc...

I feel like I didn't install Sonar right.  Also how do you install Sonar now to custom directories like we used to be able to?

Thanks,
Adam

The SONAR installer always puts ProChannel Presets and Project Templates into the default directories in "Cakewalk Content." The "Cakewalk Content" directory is specified in the ContentDir key in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software

I too use a custom folder location for Project Templates AND a custom location for "Cakewalk Content." The Project Templates SONAR uses are not the templates in "Cakewalk Content." This allows me to maintain a Project Template folder which Cakewalk does not update and the updates to "Cakewalk Content" all go to a drive other than the system drive. There I can review the changes and integrate them into my custom directories as I see fit.

Thank you for this, I will try it.  I find it odd there is no way in the installer to change this directory.  It would be nice to be able to alter this from the beginning so the installer just puts the files where you want them and each update just keeps adding to those folders.
