Really digging this and the other ambient one you posted. Both could easily be part of a film score, I think.

Thanks for having the patience to listen to both of those tracks

Well done, Andy.  This can cause deep serenity in a person.  There's actually a legitimate market for this style of music in the medical world to alleviate pain in chronic sufferers.  I think you would be a natural.  Check it out.  All the best!

Hey Andy,

Really awesome stuff. I really got lost in the world of sound you created, some really good sound design and composition. I think the pacing really worked well in creating the relaxed vibe. Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch is a godsend, you've used it in an awesome way. Great job on this.

Hi Amine,

So you know about Paul's Stretch thing? Have you used it yourself? I've since some to realise that I've only scratched the surface of what that tool can do...

Thanks for listening and you comment

Okay Peeps,

Apologies for raising this from the dead, but I felt it would be better than creating a new post about an old track.

The reason for this is I have finally gotten around to doing a remix. I got to the point where I hated the harsh clicking sound at the start of the track. At first, I thought it was okay but it started to grate on me.

It was due to one of the Tantra instances and I had to turn something of, which then got rid of the click.

I have also tamed the low-mids ever so delicately.

Oh, and one final thing, the original sound file was only a 320kbps MP3 file. The new one is a 24bit 44.1kHz WAV file.

So, for those who may have gone to the trouble downloading this piece (all of my tracks are available for free download), click on the link in the OP and it should take you there.

cheers

you and john have similar tastes in ambient choice,
very interesting sounds and use of space.

i think they still call this 'hippie' music.

Thanks for listening again.

You definitely commented on my Corona track, so perhaps you are getting confused with that one. It was another guitar piece.

Re: IRC-20385 2016/11/06 09:50:15 (permalink)
I can't remember specifics about the original, but I like this mix. The shimmering/repeating guitars could easily get out of hand and sound piercing but you have them tamed really well.

I did notice a sound at about 4:56 coming out of the left speaker. It's some sort of noise, and for some reason to me it sounds like clipping noise or a distorted buzz of some sort. Right about 4:50 it seems to come in and is clear, but then distorts. Heard it at other places as well. If it's what you intended, then please ignore me! :)
