FX button does not shut off pro channel effects in Platinum

What I have noticed in my Platinum is that even if I turn off effects via the FX button, any pro channel effects are still in play, and consuming resources.

Is there a way to shut off all plug ins - in other words, FX shuts all plug ins off, including pro channel plug ins.
Is there a way to do this on a single track - a single button that wil shut off all effects, including pro channel?

The Button in the Control Bar marked "Fx" turns all Fx off, including the Pro Channel.

The shortcut for this is E which toggles all Fx On/Off

If you look at a typical Pro Channel, the global blue light goes on/off as you do this but individual modules stay lit.

The amount of system resources consumed by the built in PC Fx is negligible - if your system is getting bogged down I'd look at other areas first before switching Fx off

I thought i was going crazy after I read your post. Crazy because I absolutely observed the situation where FX was not shutting of pro channel.
After playing around, and doing the following, I was able to get prochannel to not be affected by FX.

Load up a project. Click FX.  Then click the prochannel  off, then click it back on.

Now hit FX, then again. Pro channel stays on. And I can not get it to work with FX again until the next time I load up.

I had that happening with a number of tracks.  It would be nice if it did not happen.
