Can't Access Track Envelopes

I loaded up a tune I did a year or more ago in Sonar X3e. When I tried to delete a pan and volume envelope, it wouldn't let me. The only envelope accessible was the "Automated Mute" (AM), something X3 did not have, IIRC. When I right-click on AM and delete it, the envelope lane disappears. Unfold the lane, and voila!, the AM envelope is still there.
 
Another, more serious issue, is that every track in the song was seriously out of sync, some as much as 10 seconds! I'll check some other older songs later, when RL lets me go...
