Showcase Templates

I was checking out the showcase templates for guitar just out of curiosity, because prior the Anderton amps did not seem to do much. But to my surprise, the amps sounded great that I demoed in the showcase templates. I thought that something had been fixed, so I started a new project and put in one of the Anderton amps, and no love. It's just like they did nothing to enhance the sound. Can anyone suggest what the problem could be? They sound great in the showcase, but seen to do nothing loaded on their own. (Scratches head)

The amps should be the same. However, there are separate versions for Platinum and Artist/Professional. There have been situations where people couldn't load the correct version and if you can't, they sound pretty...uh...well, "wretched" is an accurate description. I sometimes wonder if some people think the amps sound bad because they don't have the right version and don't know what the right version sounds like...

Maybe save the Amp FX chains from the Showcase to your CA-X amps folder and overwrite the existing ones? Right-click on the amp GUI and select "Save FX Chain Preset."

By the way I'm working on a new CA-X amp called "Brash Pop." It kind of occupies the place between the Hard Rock amp's "stadium" sound, and the more "pawn shop prize" sound of the Vintage Crunch amp. Here's a sneak preview...I think it's slated for the November release.

BTW if overwriting the old FX chains works for you, please let us know. It might be the solution for others.

I will be happy to try that and report back. Just for the record I have the same thing happening with the pedal board stuff where the effects chain just has no oomph where the one I checked I am sure that was not the intention. I will check back this weekend when time allows for some testing. I am on Plat 32 bit windows 10.
