Glad I didn't upgrade to Ult10 now. Reaktor Upgrade is too expensive, I'll just read and wait for Ult11. Wondering how different it actually is, looks like more stuff and UI slightly improved.

Mmmm. Maybe upgrading Komplete 9 to to Komplete 10 was a mistake? I may have been better skipping 10 and going straight to 11. 'Still Kontakt is the big one for me. I don't have any pressing reason to upgrade Reaktor at the moment.

It doesn't matter to me. I haven't done anything with Reaktor 5. I would imagine if you were an expert at it you wouldn't need much else.

I just got it at the upgrade price. I just couldn't wait. Reaktor 5 was, at time, quite buggy for me in and out of SONAR. I'm hoping this changes that for good. The Blocks feature is exciting, it will make the application a lot of more accessible.

I'm thinking they will drop Kontakt 6 soon. If they do end up releasing Komplete 11 this year (I don't think it will happen but you never know), that would be the one thing that would cause a mass upgrade flood since they don't really have much else to add to Komplete at this point.

pretty cool
the $100 I spent on the Reaktor 5 upgrade how many years ago (8?) has been excellent value with the updates and the excitement of visiting the user library every few weeks. Now the user library will have people's crazy unique blocks!
I'll be upgrading at some point but I'm wondering if keeping the 5.9 version active to preserve the reaktor 5 ensembles and run 6 moving forward is going to be the way to do it?

I'm on Komplete 9 so again think I will wait for the next Komplete upgrade.
I actually like Reactor and use it quite a bit - it works exactly as I want it to, so you do have to think what the new version brings to the table - is this perhaps just more features and complexity that you'll never get round to learning or using??

I upgraded from K9 to K10U earlier this year, and have been loving the Evolve stuff, Rise & Hit, Cuba, and the Scarbee Rickenbacker bass (all Kontakt instruments).
Reaktor is hugely powerful, but takes a lot of time to grasp, so mostly I use it for the excellent preset patch banks like Razor, Steampipe, Spark, Prism, Monark, Rhythmaker, etc. I'm sure Reaktor 6 is very nice, but I think I can wait for the upgrade sale to K11U, hopefully next summer.
