normal template? [solved]

starting with the Hopkintin update, when I click on "NEW" it does not open the Normal template which I have saved, it opens the default normal template that always comes with sonar and I don't know where it's loading it from.

looking in my preferences, it's supposed to be loading from:
O:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR Platinum\Project Templates

and when I go there and open the Normal.cwt THAT one is correct.  it has the correct date on it from when I last saved the template.

but when I click on NEW from the NEW window in Hopkintin it opens a new template that looks like the old sonar default.

where is it loading the normal template from now and why has it changed?

Hi. I believe that it loads the "basic template", and not your "normal template". If you locate your normal template in SS, you can mark it as default template (star in upper left corner). I do not know why it changed, nor do I know where they are located (writing from laptop).
    All the best.

Make sure the Normal template is the default. As of Gloucester, the default template may be set in the New Project Dialog.

Hopkinton added the ability to the new start screen. Click the star in the upper left to set the default.

thank you both.  I, for one, think it was ridiculous to change  the default from Normal to Basic.

I found this out, fiddling on my laptop. Opened both out of curiosity, and saw the difference. Have no idea why they changed it.
