Split multiple miditracks into sections and save?

I want to split all of my midi tracks ( in the song ) into  Verse, chorus, section 1 2, yada yada...
So I select  each track at point A - Split tracks

Go to Point B      Split Tracks.      I now have a section that I want to "Save" and re-use.
From what I understand since there are multiple tracks, This is not a groove clip and I can't figure out any way to allow me to save the "section" as a Midi file to be inserted back as needed, where needed from any options.  My video program will allow me to render a "Looped Region" - so I was looking for a similar work flow.

So far, what I have as a solution is  to create a new "project window" and paste this multi- track clip into the new project named just for that clip and save it as a midi file?

just checking.

Thanks
WG

Not sure exactly what you're trying to do, but you can easily drag your split clips into the Browser for future use, likewise they can be dragged to your desktop or other projects
