SONAR X 3 Producer: Importing MP3 file to audio track - tempo speeds up

Hi:
 
I want to edit MP3 file in SONAR on a n audio track but the tempo is substantially faster when imported.  Cannot seem to slow it down to original speed.
 
Any thoughts?
