Is it possible to have a video track play from X3?

I'm starting to use X3 producer and soon Platinum ( I hope ) for backing tracks for a traditional small choir plus having kids join in.  So here the emphasis is on Praise type music and not "Choral Music".   Is it possible to send a monitor feed or a video feed with the lyrics ( I have video production facilities and graphics with D.J.backgrounds  with the words for the Choruses projected on screen.  If i could project the words when the timeline gets to each part we want people to join in, that would be ideal.

I've only done 2 projects so far and the music production end turned out fine -  having anyone at a PC to project PowerPoint when the chorus comes up with a copy of the music in hand  or even the words to follow along and big highlights and arrows pointing  HERE!!!  ) ...  well- you can imagine how that worked out!

Depending on people who are clueless isn't working.  In theory,  can just as easily send a monitor feed back to the projector feed by converting VGA to s-video which is good for quite a distance and all they have to do push a button for the video feed.

I've looked through searches and online help and all that seems to come up is using sonar to score music to video.

For my application,  I want to take the single video track that I have in sonar that is lined up with the music and send that video track only to a single monitor or a video output ( if I were to have one...  and I just might via fire-wire ).

OK.  I'll wait for ideas.
Thanks
WG

Learning as I go, and use Sonar when the need strikes.

SONAR does support video output via an external firewire monitor so that is an option you could try. You need to use the DirectShow video engine for that however (see help)
I haven't tried that in a long while however :-)

Another approach if you can't have an external monitor far enough would be to have SONAR generate timecode and have another pc/laptop runnong Sonar slave to that with the lyrics view open.

This is easily done, but I have never heard of video over firewire before.
I use multiple monitors and when I'm doing post production I put the imported video in it's own popped out window and slide it over to the 2nd or 3rd monitor.  I'm using hdmi though.

But as far as playback of video with audio- easily done.

OK guys, 2nd monitor option is easiest approach since I can convert that to a standard video feed via a black box!

    Thanks for sharing.
