? Regarding Offline IPS Update; SOLVED, thanks scook!
Just updated the CCC and then SPlat on the office rig. As IPS was downloading CCC indicated 2 files were downloading. When I open the CCC "Downloads" folder I only see the CCC and UP8 as "new" (today's date). Are there any other files I need to update on the Studio rig to IPS? Do I update the CCC on the Studio rig or wait until I bring it in and connect to the CCC? TIA, Tom

For Ipswitch there are two files associated with the SONAR Platinum line in the C3. - SONAR_Platinum_UP8_Setup_21.8.0.32.exe
- PlatinumCorePlugins_1.0.0.6.exe
Only the first is new. As with every update the chm is also changed so there is a new Local Documentation installer. If you want to update C3 without moving the machine, grab a new copy here https://www.cakewalk.com/Command-Center and install it over the existing version.

Thank you scook! PlatinumCorePlugins_1.0.0.6.exe is dated 8/26/2015 in my "downloads" folder, same as update UP7. I'll re-run it with the the UP8. T

scook FYI, click on the SONAR Platinum line in https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Products to see the files for any release.
Is there somewhere that lists all the new files? I get my updates here all the time but I have to check each one individually and I'm still never certain. It would be very handy if they posted a list of new updates to download... Somewhere?

Keni Is there somewhere that lists all the new files?
The e-zine usually indicates what needs to be downloaded. The are also listed in the update notes http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/By-Product/SONAR%20Platinum. It is a pretty safe bet that the core and help are always updated.
Thanks Steve... I must be missing that in my excitement. ;-) I expect the program itself and the local help is always related, so those are mostly a no brainier... But other items are not only separated (thankfully), but some of these have changed over time as well... I wish I could simply use CCC for this purpose but I can't afford the re-download and complications of re-installing everything so many of my status lights are red even though they are installed. Maybe some day the Bajers will be able to adjust these issues so that CCC recognizes older installs of current versions...?

I just looked again and I still don't see a list of which files are the updates...?

scook The installers are not listed by installer file name. The download section refers to the installers by the name shown in the C3 and the store account. For example at the bottom of the How to Download Ipswitch http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013427/SONAR-2015-Ipswich-Update-Notes
To download Ipswich itself, download from the core SONAR Artist, Professional, or Platinum category.
An example of more than just the core from Gloucester http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013419/SONAR-2015-Gloucester-Update-Notes. In this case the core and Drum Replacer.
download the core SONAR Artist, Professional or Platinum category. Platinum users will also see an update for the Cakewalk Drum Replacer
Or Foxboro http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013411/SONAR-2015-Foxboro-Update-Notes which refers to three installers, the Platinum Instruments Collection, Anderton Collection and core.
- Strum Session 2 (Platinum only): Platinum Instrument Collection category
- EDM Percussion Loop Library and Deflate Gate: Anderton Collection. EDM Percussion Loop Library will be in the Audio Library section of SONAR's Media Browser under Loops. Deflate Gate will be installed in the Anderton Collection Drums folder.
- Everything else: The core SONAR Artist, Professional, or Platinum category
Thanks for all the link examples Steve... I see it now but I must admit it could be more clearly listed... As what to download instead of how to download? Believing I know how, I was looking for what... But now I know what to look for. Though I feel I will still need to figure it out each time. Are these names the same as the online list in my products?

Yes, if you look in your account you will notice items like "Anderton Collection" and "Platinum Instrument Collection." When Cakewalk refers to the core, it is the main SONAR installer, in your case the item is called SONAR Platinum in your store account.

Thanks again Steve... Yes, I recognize those names. I guess it just comes down to my wishing for a simple list using the same names as the products list with no other chatter to confuse me! ;-) the current list seems to be an amalgam of list and verbose... No big problem though. I've managed all the appropriate downloads so far...
