Nice one....  I think the A&R people in Nashville are wrong.  Sounds like a hit to me..      I could hear Brad Paisley singing a song like this, or Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson.   Good stuff.

I think so too. They said Brad Paisley was likely the only singer who could pull it off since it had a comedic aspect to it... but he tends to write his own stuff.

Jackson is mostly retired now as is Chesney.... they tour a bit but neither has anything new in a long time.
 
However, it is in the hands of a few publishers and libraries...perhaps they will find a place for it.
