Time changes during play.

Tune was originaly in 4/4.
Decided to change it to 12/8 as it is a blues tune.
When i press the play button the first 2 measures play/show 12/8 but when the cursor hits measure 3 the 12/8 changes to 4/4.

What did I do wrong? And how can this be corrected?

Thank you.

Check the Time  view (it's a separate view like Event View, PRV, etc). There'll be an 4/4 event that is resetting your timeline time sig at that specific bar.

If you do a lot of copy-pasting, you can end up pasting superfluous tempo and meter/key changes along with clips. Use Copy Special and uncheck them to prevent that in the future and have the initial tempo and meter/key pertain through the whole project.

    Tune was originaly in 4/4.
Decided to change it to 12/8...

Rather than change to 12/8, I find it much easier to stick with 4/4, but set the snapping to 8th triplets (or sometimes 16th triplets).
