New computer monitor.

Hi guys, bit of a dumb question, I'm getting a flat screen 32 i niches for free and am gonna use it as a computer monitor, will I see more on the bigger screen i.e. more tracks or will I still see the same only bigger. Thanks guy.

    Hi. It would depend on the resolution on the new flat screen. The higher resolution, the more you will be able to see (clearly).

    I just upgraded from two 22" wide screens(one of them died) to a pair of 24" wide screens. With the resolution set as it came(don't remember the numbers at the moment). I'm able to see more tracks in track view with the font size being equal to what it was on the 22 inchers. Everything is MUCH crisper and sharper than my 10 year old monitors. Colors more brilliant. Very happy!

    I recently moved from 2 x 20" to 2 x 23" and the difference is massive.
     
    You shouldn't have to manually configure the screen resolution, Windows should take care of it automatically.
