Clean audio folder still not working?!

Hi,

Every time I run the "Clean audio folder" in Sonar (Platinum) it starts scanning ALL my drives??
(no matter what Audio Path I define) and after a while makes Sonar crash!
This has been going on ever since version 8.5 or something..
This really makes the whole function of cleaning audio folders useless!

Anyone else having this problem?

I learned this the hard way.  The path you specify is for AUDIO.  The exhaustive search of your entire system is for projects that reference the AUDIO in the specified path.

I don't like it even a little bit either ... but that's the way it works by design

Okey, thanks for your replies.

Hope the bakers will come up with something to replace this function in the near future..

Most of the time, I'll do a "save as" to a new project folder to transfer the finalized project/files. In most cases, I then delete the original project folder with the orphaned audio tracks.

Being able to clean project for a specific folder would be nice. But the work around is simple as well. So that's probably one of the reasons it's not high on the priority improvement list.
