Well, guess Apple is going down hard. El Capitan doesn't work and iOS 9 crashes every minute. And then there's that ridiculous watch. Man, didn't think I'd wish Jobs would come back to haunt them ...

Welcome to the wonderful world of Apple, where they'll change things in the OS and not let their partners know ahead of time. They haven't been concerned with compatibility for a long time. They don't seek to actively break it, but they don't care if they do.

I was really surprised when I got the email from Native Instruments warning all their users to stay away from the new OS. Don't think I've ever received such a warning and it makes the WIn 10 issues seem like small potato's.

NI pays more attention to Mac. I guess the vast majority of their users are on it.
The fact that Maschine and reflektor crashes with Windows, and with Maschine there is a MIDI out bug that has been around for years tells us a lot. No emergency sirens for this...

iOS9 seems to be a mess as well. Things like selecting text and copy/paste are all screwed up. It's horrible.

Before Jobs died, once the dust had settled, OSX had reached a 2 years life cycle for the upgrade releases. Since that other guy is in charge, we're back to a under one year cycle. This cannot possibly be good...
On the other hand, I personally know zero musician/engineer running the latest incarnation of Mac OS. Heck I'm only running Mavericks because it's what was installed on my Mac when I bought it. And I'm NEVER upgrading it.
Mavericks is probably the last version that had anything to do with the old OSX, before that idiot finished scrapping off everything good about it. And it's still nowhere near as good as Snow Leopard.
