Well another one!!
Hello Everyone, Just felt that the guitar lead part from 00:35 - 00:55 could have been a little different - may be the tune or some fx. I hope the tuning sounds better this time. https://soundcloud.com/audiomyth/winter-soldier-7/s-13ecqLemme know if you drop by. Thanks and Regards,Kane

Hi Kane, I liked your composition... Very pleasant on the ear Almost ambient that Nice integration of synth and guitar. I'd probably go for a more effect laiden sound, but that's me cheers andy

Tell me Kane, how do you tune your guitar? I'm only asking because the initial guitar part just seems to be very, very slightly out of tune, but not unfashionably so. Only by a few cents even, and I am probably being far too picky I use one of these:-

I go for a standard tuning using my midi keyboard. It sounds good standalone but when its recorded, something I guess is lost in transit. Yeah, I'll be using a tuner soon. May be there's something with the in-built pick-up. Thanks for the feedback Andy :)

Nice piece, I enjoyed the listen good stuff. As I am in a bit of an ambient/chill-out mode composition wise I would have put some effects on the guitar. This may also mask the slightly and I mean slightly out of tune sound that comes through.

When in doubt for this type of music I usually suggest checking out some Mike Oldfield, his tones always blend well with what is going on elsewhere in the music.

If you go to YouTube and listen to some of Songs of Distant Earth, Mike Oldfield. That's the type of guitar tones which I think would work quite well in this sort of track.

Listening to it. Extremely soothing and the feeling is like there's someone out there in the vastness of the space unknown.

That is an interesting combination of instruments and tones. Cool! Mix-wise, I would suggest widening the drums a bit if possible, and maybe spreading the guitar out a little too (doubling or using FX) since they're the foundation of the tune with the lead parts riding on top.
