Korg Electribe MIDI problem

Hey guys,
 
I have recently bought a Korg electribe and I'm having a lot of fun with it, but it is not recognised as a MIDI device in Sonar when connected via USB, any idea why that would be? It works fine when I connect it to the MIDI ports on my audio interface but when I connect via USB it is not listed in MIDI devices. I have installed the drivers and it says that everything is working correctly.
