HELP!! FX1 crashes in HS 2004 XL

HELP!! FX1 crashes in HS 2004 XL

Is there a patch or fix for this? It never fails. Every time I attempt to use FX1, it completely crashes my machine and I end up having to reboot.

Any help is appreciated!

    What's FX1?

    There's no patches because they are not needed. The problem is not HS. Crashes in Home Studio are usually caused by your soundcard's drivers. What's your computer's specs (CPU, memory), soundcard, version of Windows)
