I tried to get it with a serial number I had from a 6 pack and the 'Merica midi is not showing up in the "choose your product" area yet. I will try again in a bit and update when it shows up.

Toontrack takes my generic serial ok but American Rock does not show up in the Make Your Selection area. I sent support a message.

The demo vid just seems to show vanilla, plain beats. I guess once you get the MIDI pack, you get some goodies, but there weren't in the demo video, imo. IDK....

I noticed on the webpage for the product the audio examples seemed to sound like 4 to 8 bar patterns that started as a simple bread and butter beat and developed a little farther every 4 to 8 bar passage which means more cutting and pasting to get the bars you need. Still, it's Aronoff!! Who wouldn't want him on your song?

I liked the vanilla beats, my main complaint is that many of them are too busy and over played. I'm sure there is some other flavors in there as well. This one sounds interesting to me. Like Ol'Pal, I may wait for the sale.

yeah...except the "vanilla beats" are already in the pop/rock MIDI collection, that was one of the first MIDI packs out. However, I believe Toontrack excels with their stuff and if I wasn't watching my gas tank, I'd have everything that they put out. Eager for Superior 3, most definitely.
