Edit & Cleaning Audio Track Question
Hello, I have a question about cleaning "Analog Tracks". Example if I record a guitar (Mic > Audio Interface > Daw) and I want to clean say a "string noise" like on an acoustic guitar as you slide down the neck, or any noise between two notes? is there any program within Sonar, like an "Eraser" that I could clean little areas without effecting the VST's (single track) ? I've tried programs like Melodyne, and haven't found a great use for it. If I use the "Cut" tool it also cuts any audio within that distance (I might want to lower the single note) and not using the slider automation. I'm probably missing something within the Platinum program? With Digital on the Piano-Roll I can delete/move/change velocity/etc. I have iZotope Rx etc. for repair but nothing exactly what I'm looking for. I was hoping there was something to help with a note here and there, something simple like a Cursor over the concerned area, click and lower/raise/that note and clean anything before and after it's fixed? Any help will be greatly appreciated,
Thanks!
