Different dB levels in Inspector and Bus track - bug?
Hey- I got the Ipswich upgrade (Platinum). I do wonder... I have sent a kickdrum to my master bus, where I have put some plugins in a FX Chain (all turned off now). However, I do get different dB levels on my Master Bus dependent on where I look. If I have the console view open as well as look at the inspector (i) I see -6.4 dB in the inspector view, and -9.1 dB if I look in the Pro Channel Master bus. If I turn the Global off on the Master Bus I got the same dB (-9.1 dB in both Inspector window as well as the Bus track. Should this be like this or do I miss something? Thanks!

If you have any FX on in a buss it can cause a higher gain coming out.

Assuming the OP is looking at the same bus there should be zero disagreement between the 2 meter readings - they are the same bus. This is irrespective of any master buss processing. I can only think he's not looking at the master bus in the Inspector, but we need confirmation.

What does global turned off mean? I think he is saying turning off the Pro Channel. I will say I am not too sure what he is saying.
