Droone - Night Vision

Hello Everyone !!

The idea behind this track was something like this - Year 2050, a surveillance drone flying low through the nooks and corners of a city that once used to be busy and vibrant, now abandoned and in shatters, and the drone is looking for life here.

Here is the link: (There's a new link for an edited version in a separate post)

I don't know how far it resembled the idea. Feedback appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,
Kane

    Hey Kane,

This is a great start, IMO, but I think it needs a lead line melody to hold it all together. Some moody synth that slowly morphs over time as the melody progresses. Just a thought.

This would benefit for some additional ear candy, I can almost see it in a game with the scenario described, but the game would add the ear candy.

As a bed for a melody this is excellent, sounds very pleasing to the ear. May I also be so bold to suggest a couple of FX like swooshs here and there.

    Thanks Dan, John and Adrian.

I think I have helpful feedback here to work with. May be I will also try to add a techno-vocal dimension. Any suggestion for this?

    Thanks once again.

    Regards,
    Kane

Hi Kane... Make this a public track, along with some of your other stuff... Nothing wrong with this IMO...

I agree with everyone else, that more could be added, but this is a good start for sure. Perhaps make the percussion vary even more than it does... Practise playing your guitar over the top and add some of that in, just to mix up the sounds a bit.

    cheers

Hello Andy... Thanks for listening and the feedback. I am planning to start reworking on this track as soon as I find suitable synths and effects. I may not be able add the guitar component immediately / needs some repair touch.

    Kane

very cool and atmospheric Kane - like the back story.
I agree it needs something more to add interest. Maybe a drop half way through with a build back to the main theme?

Thanks Daryl. I am reworking on this track. Might not be able to bring in any major change to it but still trying to figure out if any new dimension could be added.

+1 to the above - the structure is there, you just need to add a facade.  I'm almost hearing a lead similar to a sax as far as form/lines goes, but maybe more synthetic in tone and with some nice delay + reverb.    If that makes any sense at all.
