As a New Yorker myself, I've never heard of such laws or rules banning us from entering contests.
 
OK, that being said, I really am curious as to why NYS artists are excluded??
 


NY for awards $5000.00 and up NY want them to post/buy a bond.

Just Cause 3 launch trailer - Sweden is out? 2015/10/20 05:25:56 (permalink)
Was going to submit to this competition, but realised that Sweden wasn't a eligeble country!?? Strange as both Norway and Denmark are? Too many terrorists in Sweden;) Well, as Swedish Producers and songwriters are among the best in the world, it's a loss I think. And we invented stuff like Spotify, Soundcloud.com, Elektron (analog four), OP1 (Teenage Engineering)... Great stuff for Music.

If you read further in the terms, they want you to send a self addressed envelope, so they can mail the winners list back to you.  My guess is, if you haven't heard, you didn't win.  I haven't heard either!

But I still don't see any announcement of the actual winners of the contest. Anyone have any idea where we can find out who the winners were? Or are they still deciding on the final winners?
