Problem getting SonarX1 to release the audio driver when the focus is not on Sonar!!!!!

When I use Sonar X1 I can only get sound when I am actually on the Sonar window.  If I move to another app or window, I get no sound!  It must not be releasing the audio driver but I cannot figure out how to fix it. Any ideas?

    In preferences, uncheck share drivers with other programs.

    I think Mettelus means check the box that says share drivers with other programs in preferences.

    When changing this (share drivers with other programs), don't forget that there is a related setting on the windows driver for the device (Control Panel -> sound).  Things work better if the same approach for sharing is set in both places.
