    OK, now I know why the BEATLES broke up.... Paul was never without and poor John.. he got stuck with Yoko. That explains a LOT!! George turned to meditation and Ringo kept hitting thing. makes sense!

    I'm not sure there is a band that uses low as in LOW bass ... simply for its LOW ability and sound ... and I want to say that the rap pounding does not count. I was trying to think of a band that did just that ... but the best I could find would probably be bands that used that Roland thing in the late 70's and 80's to create bass that a player did not have or do. But even then, it was not that low consistently ...
     
    But monkeys ... wow ... rock'n'roll will never survive that now!
