Cool PC game soundtrack
Hi I'd like to say I enjoyed forum users soundtracks for the game 'Just cause 3', in parts because I felt some sensibility in it (maybe because of things like mercenaries, innocent victims, etc., from PC games). I also remembered the game ‘EcoQuest’, from the 90's, and I'd like to share a video with part of its soundtrack, which I think is cool (however, I guess this game is more kids and teenagers oriented). Thanks Best regards EDITED: Sorry I didn't try to embed the YouTube player to improve the exhibition on the Forum.

I actually have Just Cause 3 (and possibly other versions) in my Steam library, but haven't played it yet (got it 2 summers ago....lol). Since the music is good, I really should give it a shot....have you played the game?

Hi, Mesh To say the truth it makes many years I don't play games (yet I downloaded an amateur game based on 'Hey, Arnold!' cartoon show, some years ago, but it was just for fun). I'll try to get a Steam account and see how it works. I feel these modern games are very impressive, and I watched some videos on You Tube after I sent this post to the Forum. Thanks for the reply!

Steam is actually quite an excellent platform in handling gaming needs......once your games are installed, Steam will automatically update all gaming content. I have about 50 purchased games (many are GOTY - game of the year), but I'm hooked on playing a free game.....Team Fortress 2 (a FPS game). Since you have Sony Vegas Movie Studio, I'm sure you also have an excellent graphics card (which you'll probably need for the more modern games....Crysis 3, Battlefield 4, X-COM, Skyrim etc..). Some of these games are very well done and it's easy to get drawn into the game playing out the characters. BTW, I'm Meshodman on Steam. :))

Hi, some games have excellent music ... I remember that Final Fantasy had some outstanding stuff and the composer also had a few CD's out. Can't even remember his name!
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

I much prefer the old 8-bit compositions from 80's games than the modern mega productions. Rob Hubbard was an absolute legend back in the days of the C-64, what he did with the 3 channels of the SID chip was incredible. I have fond memories of listening to his game music on loop for longer than I'd play the game itself. The music for One Man And His Droid is a masterpiece, as is Monty On The Run.
JamesWindows 10, Sonar SPlat (64-bit), Intel i7-4930K, 32GB RAM, RME Babyface, AKAI MPK Mini, Roland A-800 Pro, Focusrite VRM Box, Komplete 10 Ultimate, 2012 American Telecaster!

Mesh, thanks for the suggestions, I guess I'll give it a try. Moshkito and Sharke, that's cool. I'll take a look at it. Thanks.

Hi I guess Final Fantasy soundtrack's composer could be Nobuo Uematsu. Sorry for the late response. It's a nice music, I didn't knew it. Also Rob Hubbard soundtracks are awesome. Thanks.

Hi, Everquest was also one of the games that hated players and the code folks were total jerks. So this kid created music for several zones in EQ and had a CD put out to show the music, and it was very nice and super well done, and Sony apparently went to court and told the kid to cease and desist. That is just bad ... kill the inspiration, but this was what was wrong with Sony in those days ... and still is ... their "games" are not a "player's game" at all! And the music is very poor compared to what WoW has and many other games. And this is the company that was awarded "Star Wars" ... a game they could never get right and ruined even worse.

Hi I also didn't know about this game and its music story. I'll check it out. I've recently graduated on law college and I've seen some copyright cases which are very exaggerated, mainly when it's related to internet. I also am sorry I didn't embed the YouTube player on the OP. I've updated it in case I was not clear and, with the due respect, you could have misunderstand EcoQuest with Everquest. I'd like to say the thing about Ecoquest soundtrack I liked is that the first theme on the video reminds me Pat Metheny and some 80's jazz tunes. Also the second theme is more like reggae, and what I liked are those GM sounds from the 90's and also how the composer was creative to work with that. I've seen some games on internet, after the OP, and they are very well done, but I still didn't give them a try, I guess I'm a bit square. : ) Best regards

Pedro? Misunderstand? Never!

That depends on one's intelligence quota, Craig! AND, not measured by my scale! Problem is that it might say something about trolls ... not me!
