ASAP ROCKY Voice effect?

Hi all! So I am doing a cover to a song, and it has this effect on it when the 3 rapper starts rapping. his name is JHOPE and when he pauses there is a deep "OH" between them/ How do i achieve this effect? Do I use a plugin or is there some tool in SONAR?

Copy and paste each occurrence of "Oh" into a new track.
Put a pitch-shifter vst effect on the new track and adjust the pitch-shifter down 1 octave or more.

Put the "Oh" on a new track and pitch shift it down with a vst pitch shifter or Melodyne.
