New to Sonar Professional (And all DAWs)

I just purchased Sonar Professional. I would like to purchase Addictive Drums 2 Metal Expansion Pack. Do I need to purchase the full version of Addictive Drums 2 first or can I but the expansion pack alone?

    When the product was originally released it was a collection of ADPaks each with the AD2 runtime engine. Since that time, XLN has reconfigured the product slightly. I believe you are grandfathered into the old product packaging by virtue of your SONAR Professional purchase. IOW, you already have the full version except instead of the new packaging, you have the original packaging with one ADPak. You should have no trouble purchasing the Metal ADPak from their store.

    Do you want to get what is shipped with Sonar? Install AD2 Demo first, there are some demo sounds. Then you can register serial number, and choose what you need.
