Pan hard centre?

I have a very simple question. Must be a thing I have overlooked.
 
How can I pan a bass track hard centre with a instrument, like Nexus 2? I can see the option on audio tracks but not for synth/vst tracks. It is not problem to pan left or right, but just can not find out how to pan it hard centre. Do I really need to use a plugin for this?

    While the interleave button is hidden on a instrument track, it is still possible to set it by splitting the track, setting the interleave on the audio track and recreating the instrument track.

    Okei thanks . Then I just need to follow up With a question why it is hidden on a instrument track? No big deal anyway. Just needed a solution for this.

    I can't say for sure, maybe Simple Instrument Tracks have a reduced feature set to keep them simple.

    Dang  . That was actually a leading to where I have overlooked it. When I insert the synth (options)  . I knew there was some silly, easy thing I did not see. Typical With a New Daw in the starting phase. Now I just need to figure out if I can change the option for the synth racks already added.

    If you are working with an existing instrument track right-click in the track and use the "Split Instrument Track" option.

    Just one more thing. When I choose the Simple Instrument Track. This is stereo, right? Just want to ask since I got 2 recording lines/graphs when I choosed the "All synth audio outputs - Stereo" and only 1 recording graph when recording in Simple Instrument Track.
     
    I can of course hear it, that it is stereo, but just need to have it confirmed to be absolutely sure.

    Yes, SITs are implemented as a hybrid combination of a MIDI track input section and a stereo (by default) audio track output section. Initially a SIT shows the MIDI data in the track. SITs can be slit into their audio and MIDI track components. A MIDI+audio track synth instance can be merged into an instrument track. The option to split/merge is in the track context menu.
